Lawton-Fort Sill Cavalry News Release

LAWTON, OKLA- The Oklahoma Cavs faced the Albany Patroons Sunday afternoon for their last game of the regular season to beat them 150-130.

The Ft. Sill Cannoneers met the Sheppard Air Force Base Senators from Wichita Falls to kick off the afternoon's double header. The visiting Senators beat the Cannoneers 100-89.

The Patroons came out with a different look for the game. Player/Coach Nate Burton did not play leaving them with no support from the bench. Despite being short players, Albany outscored the Cavs 46-40 in the second quarter. Guards Jason Williams and Lucious Jordan both scored 16 points to tie the game at 79 before the end of the first half.

Girls that dreamed of performing during halftime of a Cavs game had their wish granted during Sunday's halftime show. Forty-four girls participated in the Cavs Dance Team's Spring Clinic on Saturday and showed off their moves in front of 1563 Cavs fans.
