
Cavs Host Double Header on Military Appreciation Night

LAWTON, OKLA- On Sunday afternoon, basketball fans can see 2 games for the price of one! Games will start at 1:00 p.m. at the Great Plains Coliseum, and doors will open at 12:30 p.m.
The Army and Air Force will kick off the basketball action Sunday for the first game of the day at 1:00 p.m. Then the Cavs will take on the Albany Patroons at 4:05 p.m. This will be the first time Coach Richardson will face his old team he took to the championship last year.
Sunday is Military Appreciation game, and all active duty and retired military can purchase reserved tickets for $10.
The Ok Cavs donated 300 tickets to show their appreciation to the military. Tickets were distributed to the U.S. Field Artillery Association.
Honorary Coach of the Game will be Lt. Col. Mike Sheiman of the U.S. Marines and he will sit on the bench with Coach Richardson, and over 100 Marines will be in the stands to cheer on the Cavs.
Tickets for Sunday's double header can be purchased at the Cavs office during business hours Monday thru Friday from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. or tickets can be purchased at Adventure Travel located in Central Mall or at the PX on Ft. Sill.
