Cavs Give Away Amtryke at Sunday's Game

LAWTON, OKLA- Sunday afternoon's game was AMBUCS night and they hosted halftime.

The AMBUCS gave away 5 Amtryke's, and one tricycle was donated by the Oklahoma Cavalry.

The AMBUCS Amtryke is a therapeutic tricycle for children with disabilities. It is hand and/or foot powered and improves motor coordination, increases self-esteem and is fun to ride. Therapists acknowledge Amtryke's benefits saying it improves motor skills and strength development.

The five Amtryke's were given out during halftime. The kids that received the tricycles were Ashlynn Morris, daughter of Lorre and Foster Morris. The 6 year old attends Temple Elementary School. Christian Grijalva, daughter of April and Jesus Grijalva, a 5 year old with cerebral palsy and attends Ridgecrest Elementary. Fourteen year old Levi Smith attends Macarthur High School and is the son of Lori and Will Smith. Bryson Norris, son of Tyra Norris, is a fifth grader at Swinney Elementary. Derrick Ellis a 16 year old with MMS dx of Hemiplegia attends Macarthur High School.

The Amtryke donated by the Oklahoma Cavs had an autographed license plate, and was given to Norris.
