Cavs Announce 2011 Open Tryouts

Lawton-Fort Sill Cavalry News Release


LAWTON, Okla. - The Lawton-Fort Sill Cavalry announced that the 2011 Open Tryouts will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sep 22 at the First Baptist Church gym located on the corner of 5th St and "A" Ave in Lawton.

Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and tryouts begin at 9 a.m. Players can register by printing off the registration form and the liability waiver off the Cavs website and mailing it to the office. Players can also register the day of tryouts.

The registration fee is $100 and can be paid in the form of check, credit card, money order or cash. The fee is due no later than 9 a.m. at tryouts.

Players need to bring a copy of their resume to tryouts. Game tapes are also encouraged if available.

Prospective players are responsible for their own travel and hotel arrangements for the tryouts. Players can contact Adventure Travel in Lawton, OK for travel and hotel information by calling 1-800-540-9030.
