'Cats win sixth straight game, 6-3

Edmonton, AB - The Edmonton Cracker-Cats continued their dominating play at Telus Field, winnin g6-3 over the Orange County Flyers. It marked their second straight victory over the Flyers. They have scored a total of 19 runs over that span.

Cats starter Ricardo Rodriguez pitched eight very strong inning, with zero walks and a total of 11 strikeouts. His final numbers were 8H, 3R, 1Er, 0BB, and 11SO. Pete Sikaras closed the game for the ‘Cats in the ninth.

Mike Natale got the start for the Flyers, he went 7.0 innings, allowing 6 runs, along with 12 hits. He was relieved by Andre Simpson who finished the game at 1.0 IP, with one hit and 2 strikeouts.

The ‘Cats offense continues to lead the way, with another 13 hits tonight.

Ruddy Yan and Carlos Arroyo continued their strong seasons, with three this and two RBI's each.

The ‘Cats will finish off this three game series tomorrow afternoon. Game time is 1:35pm. The first 2000 people through Telus Field, will receive the Cracker-Cats official 2008 team poster.
