
Cats Sign Canuck Left Hander

Jason Pilkington a 6'6" 210lbs left hander from St. Catharines Ontario, has agreed to terms with The Edmonton Cracker Cats for the 2007 season in The Northern League.
In 26 appearances in 2006 with the Quebec Capitales in The Can Am League, Pilkington logged a 4 and 2 record with a 2.93 earned run average. Pilkington made 3 starts with 23 relief appearances over 55 innings, and averaged less than 1 hit per inning.
A 2002 College player at Arizona Central, Jason started his pro career with Niagra in the now defunct Canadian Baseball League; he has also played for Rock Ford and Richmond in The Frontier League.
Pilkington throws a 2 and 4 seam fastball, curveball, and a circle change up, and excellent out pitch to left handed batters.
