
Cats Bobblehead Closes In On $5,000

The Fort Worth Cats are auctioning off a bobblehead that will be created in the likeness of an auction's winning bidder. The Cats are offering a fan the unique opportunity to be on a bobblehead doll, which will be distributed to 1,500 people for a game during the 2004 season.
The auction is being done on www.ebay.com, and as of Friday afternoon, the high bid was $4,820.06. The item number is 2779444454. Bidding for the bobblehead doll closes Sunday, January 18 at 7:47 p.m.
The winning bidder has the opportunity to put his or her face â or a face of their choice, subject to team approval â on the bobblehead doll. The head will be highlighted by a Fort Worth Cats uniform and a bat or ball. The person will also get transportation for two to the game, where he or she will receive a uniform, have the right to throw out the first pitch and lead the fans in "Take Me Out to the Ballgame."
