Catchings knocks the Spirit out of Springfield

The Springfield Spirit lost at the hands of the Chicago Blaze by the score of 87-77. Their record drops to 1-4.
Tamika Catchings lead the way for the Blaze with 30 points and 21 rebounds. Also helping the Blaze was Jamie Redd with 18 points.
The Spirit were led by Cindy Blodgett with 18 points and Rita Williams with 16 points in the losing effort.
The Blaze face the Dallas Fury on the road Thursday, February 5. Their next home game is Sunday, February 8 at North Central College at 3p.m.
