LAREDO, TX- Recently, 2008-09 Central Hockey League Rookie of the Year sat down for a special "Behind the Bench" Interview with Bryan Benway. Smith is taking part in NHL Prospects camp with the Atlanta Thrashers from September 6th-10th.

In the interview Smith talks about how the deal with Atlanta happened, how he has been preparing for the camp, and if he plans on returing to play in Laredo.
The Bucks will open their eighth season in the Gateway City in October, and will host the 2010 CHL All-Star Game on January 13th.
