Casper Ghosts News Release
Casper-The Casper Ghosts have announced that they are within striking distance of the all time attendance record for the organization. "Right now we are at 50,605 fans for the season and the record is 57,023 so with a little luck we may be able to break it" said General Manager Mike Sandler from his office Wednesday morning.
"Weather hasn't always been our friend this season but the forecast is good and the fans have just been tremendous this year. Our final game of the year is always Fan Appreciation Day and it is traditionally one of our biggest nights so we have a lot of hope that we can make it" Sandler continued.
The Ghosts lost five games this season to rain and field conditions out of a 38 home game schedule. The Ghosts have been averaging 1,233 fans per game over 30 openings.
"We can't thank the fans enough for all of their support this summer and if we are able to break the record it is truly a testament to the great fan base we have here in Casper." Sandler added.
