
Carter receives UIF honors

The Fort Wayne Freedom is pleased to announce that Lewis "Bam" Carter was named UIF Defensive Player of the Week. Carter picked up where he left off last season with 9 solo tackles, 3 assisted and 1 tackle for a loss in the win against the Sioux City Bandits last Saturday. The Bandits offense was held to just 23 points and 187 yards in the game by the Freedom defense.
Carter and the Freedom defense will be taking on the UIF Offensive Player of the Week, when they face quarterback Dusty Burk of the Bloomington Extreme. Game time is set for 4PM Saturday, April 1st in Bloomington, IL.
