"The past two seasons, we had a total of nine players from our tryouts make our opening day roster and five more who came in the middle of the season," said Buzz head coach Burrel Lee III. "We are looking for that diamond in the rough. Being in Southern California, the talent pool is huge and full of players, but there are always a few that get overlooked and we are looking for them. I worked with former NBA champion Earl Cureton my first four seasons in the ABA and he told me that you want to coach your 12 players and get them all jobs elsewhere. This past season, we saw many of our players leave to bigger paying jobs over the water," added Lee.

James Williams to Poland & Qatar
Eric "Spinmaster" Holmes to Lebanon & Kuwait
Deon "B.O." Williams to Lebanon
Adam Parada to Jordan
Ramel "Rock" Lloyd to Venezuela & Dominican Republic
Lamar Gayle to Mexico
John Janssen to Australia
Ronel Mingo to Sweden

"And both Lloyd and Gayle made the ABA All Star team. We are now looking for guys like these to come in, play and move on and up."
