Ontario Red Wolves seeking local partners
May 12, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Ontario Red Wolves News Release
Toronto, Canada. Michael Kelly, CEO of the ABA Ontario Red Wolves today announced that the team is seeking additional local area partners to participate in the development of the expansion team that begins play in November.
According to Kelly, "We consider local ownership to be a very important factor in having a successful operation. Our organization has offices in Boston, New York and Toronto and we felt that it would be wise to open up ownership to additional people in Ontario. We have been encouraged by the ABA league office to do this - and we are responding."

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
