Amarillo Bulls News Release

Amarillo, TX - The Amarillo Bulls announced, Monday afternoon, that defenseman Noah Carlin has committed to play Division I hockey at Niagara University.

Carlin, a Marine City, Michigan native, recently completed his second season with the Bulls, having joined the team for 46 regular-season games and 13 postseason appearances during the 2018-2019 season.

"I'm so grateful and excited for this opportunity," said Carlin. "I felt that Niagara would be the best fit for me not only as a player but a person. It is a great school, and the education I will receive will help set me up for success in life. The hockey program is outstanding, and I'm so excited to be a part of it. I'd like to thank Coach Russo and Coach Lewis for everything they have done for me and helping me get to where I am. I'd also like to thank my family for making so many sacrifices and always supporting me."

The 2019-2020 season brought about a much-improved season for Carlin, as he tallied 30 points on 12 goals and 18 assists through his 50 games. His point total ranked him as the top defensive scorer on the Bulls roster.

"We are extremely proud of Noah and excited for him and his family," said Head Coach Rocky Russo. "He worked very hard to improve his game the last two seasons, and his commitment to Niagara is well earned. We are also thrilled that Noah will be returning to Amarillo for the 2020-21 season. He will be one of our captains and a huge part of our success as we chase our goal of winning a Robertson Cup. There is no doubt that Noah will be a tremendous addition to Coach Lammers program and Niagara University as a whole."
