
CardSharks to Play Inagural Game in Boardwalk Hall

Atlantic City, NJ, April 8, 2004 â The CardSharks will play their first home game of the National Indoor Football League in historic Boardwalk Hall against the Greenville Riverhawks Saturday, April 10, at 7:30. Both teams will be looking for their first win of the season. Atlantic City (0-1) enters the game off a loss to the Show Me Believers on March 28. Greenville (0-2) fell last week in Tupelo, Mississippi.
Head coach and General Manager of the CardSharks, Mike Siani said, "We are excited to finally get a chance to play here in front of our home fans. We look forward to providing New Jersey with a new form of sports entertainment." Siani added, "Greenville has added plenty of new talent to their roster and they are coming here looking for a win."
Greenville will play all their games on the road this season. They are looking for a permanent home to begin play in 2005. The Riverhawks are led by Head Coach Dave Whyte. Whyte's previous experience includes stints with the Detroit Lions of the NFL, and the Charlotte Hornets of the World Football League. Prior to his professional football experience, Whyte served as the special teams and offensive line coach at Johnson C. Smith University
