* Caps 2005 MVP Mark Knowles and Daniel Nestor were finalists at the Paris Indoors, falling 6-4, 6-7(3), 6-4 to Mike and Bob Bryan, sons of Caps coach Wayne Bryan. The ATP Tour selected Knowles/Nestor as the Team of the Month because they have collected important points in the Race to the Tennis Masters Cup in Shanghai, picking up 50 points for the Vienna crown, and winning their 31st title as a team. Knowles from the Bahamas captured his 38th career doubles crown, while Canadian Nestor celebrates his 40th doubles title.
* Dmitry Tursunov, the Caps 2004 MVP and Rookie of the Year, advanced to a career-high ranking of No. 62 in the world during the week of November 7th. The 22-year-old Russian, who makes his home in Granite Bay and has wrestled with a persistent back injury, reached the third round of the Paris Masters as a qualifier.
* Caps 2005 alternate Wesley Moodie and his partner Stephen Huss reached the final of the Davidoff Swiss Indoors in Basel, Switzerland. Agustin Calleri and Fernando Gonzalez outplayed the duo 7-5, 7-5.
