Sacramento Capitals Offer Opportunity to Stay Connected

February 7, 2014 - World TeamTennis (WTT)
Sacramento Capitals News Release

The Sacramento Capitals, now the Las Vegas Neon, may have changed venues, but we still wish to find ways to keep our dedicated fans involved. One of those ways is by getting involved with Cancer Research Racquet, an organization that holds events at tennis venues around the world. They are an international group of US, UK & EU business professionals who love the game of tennis and who raise money for cancer research. They wish to invite you to become involved at some of the biggest tennis venue's around the world. Read on for more information from one of their organizers, and blood cancer survivor, Rob Kinas.

Welcome from Las Vegas!

At Cancer Research Racquet we have many Northern California friends who are Mylan World TeamTennis lovers. We keep this passionate group connected for all 12 months of the year. During July, of course, we attend the Mylan World TeamTennis matches. During the other 11 months of the year, we host champagne & tennis-themed events in San Francisco, Napa, Indian Wells and Las Vegas. We would love to host an event in Sacramento! In addition, we host events at the Sony event in Miami as well as at the French Open, Wimbledon and the US Open.

Our group and Sacramento Capitals' fans seem to have much in common, including the appreciation of fine champagne, pinots & lagers as well as the love of cross-court winners. We would enjoy having you as part of the regional tennis fun.

Your first opportunity to meet your Vegas counterparts is at the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells. On Saturday, March 8th at 4pm, we will be hosting our annual beer and margarita event at the Corona Tent. Our treat for drinks. After Indian Wells, our next events are at the Sony Open in Miami and then we move to the French Open and Wimbledon. Of course, we will be hosting doubles events in Las Vegas during the Mylan World TeamTennis season. Everyone is welcome. We would be playing doubles during the day and cheering the team during the evening. FYI, the Vegas folks poach frequently and love the I-Formation!

Our event website is www.CancerResearchRacquet.com. We circulate a monthly event email which provides a rolling 90 days overview of upcoming events. Thirsty individuals who would like to receive the monthly updates should drop me a note at rkinas@swlaw.com.

Sincerely,

Rob Kinas
