Lincoln, NE - - The Lincoln Capitols, members of the NIFL and a partner with the NFL for better officiating will be opening training camp on Monday, March 7, with a great mixture of veteran and rookie players reporting for the opening day hoping to secure a roster spot.
Abbott Sports Complex will be hosting the Capitols training camp and most of the practices for the upcoming 2005 season. If you wish to get an early look at the Capitols join us at the Abbott Sports Complex, Monday at 6:30 PM. After practice the players and coaching staff will be available for you to answer any questions about the upcoming 2005 season.
The Lincoln Capitols Coaching Staff have high hopes for all the players entering training camp. In the next 20 days the players will get an opportunity to show off their talents and the Coaching Staff will find the right group of players to make the 2005 season, a season to remember.
Coach Schaben is counting on his veterans to teach the new guys what indoor football is all about in Lincoln.
Mark you calendar. The first game is coming soon, as on March 25 the Capitols will begin their 2005 season with a three game home stand, opening with the Odessa Roughnecks.
