Cancer Awareness Night This Saturday At Ice Game

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Ice will be sporting "pink" this Saturday in support of "Cancer Awareness Night" presented by Old National Bank when the team hosts the Des Moines Buccaneers at 7:05 p.m. from Pepsi Coliseum.
As part of the night, all Ice players and game officials will wear commemorative pink jerseys that fans will have the opportunity to bid on throughout the game at the front merchandise stand. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Little Red Door Cancer Agency in Indianapolis, an agency that provides support, research and cancer screening for the medically undeserved of Central Indiana.
The special night will also include a pre-game concert from Christian rock band Storyside:B who will kick off the night's festivities at 5 p.m.
Hailing from St. Augustine Florida, Storyside:B is coming off their June release of their second album on Gotee Records "We Are Not Alone." Their single "Miracle" recently clinched the number two spot on the Christian Hit Radio chart and their follow up single "Everything and More" made it into the Top Ten Most Played Songs of 2007. In 2005 their debut album "Everything and More" got Best New Artist on BillBoard Magazines' 'Top Christian Artists' chart in 2007.
Tickets range from $11-$15 for the game ($2 off for children 12 and under and seniors 62 and over) and can be purchased at all Ticketmaster locations including Karma Records, the Pepsi Coliseum and Conseco Fieldhouse box offices, or by calling 239-5151 or online at ticketmaster.com.
