LF Eddie Lantigua hit his sixth homer of the year as part of a five RBI performance to lead Quebec to a 13-7 win over The American Defenders of New Hampshire. Capitales 1B Pete LaForest also drove in five runs as he smacked two doubles and scored twice in the contest. Joe Klein made his first start of the season with the Capitales and pitched 5 1/3 innings to earn the win. Isaac Burkett started for New Hampshire and lasted just three innings, surrendering four earned runs. He was followed by a parade of relievers as New Hampshire used a total of six pitchers in the game.

New Jersey 6, Sussex 5 (10 Innings)
@ Augusta, NJ. Time: 3:33 Attendance: 1,503

HR: NJ- Juan Tejeda (3)
1B Juan Tejeda homered and drove in three for the Jackals, and a bases loaded walk forced in the go ahead run in the top of the 10th inning as New Jersey defeated Sussex 6-5. DH Quinn Stewart added three hits in four at-bats as well to help the New Jersey attack. Reliever Romas Hicks struck out three in two innings and closer Rusty Tucker came on in the bottom of the 10th to nail down the victory and collect his 10th save. Neither starting pitcher factored in the decision.

Brockton 7, Worcester 0

HR: None
Fraser Robinson pitched six scoreless innings and struck out five to lead Brockton to a 7-0 shutout of Worcester. Robinson did not walk a man and allowed just six hits to get the win and even his mark at 2-2. Rox LF Keith Brachold had a big game offensively as he went 3-for-4 with three runs scored. Brockton also got big contributions from 2B Melvin Falu, who drove in three runs, and SS Dominic Ramos who finished 3-for-5. Tornadoes starter Matt Weagle went 5 1/3 innings and allowed five earned runs. He dropped to 1-3 with the loss.
