The Sussex Skyhawks collected 17 hits en route to an easy 12-5 win against Quebec at home. Leading the way for the Skyhawks at the plate was 2B Chris Brown, who was 4-for-5 with a pair of doubles, three runs scored and two RBI. Also turning in a nice game offensively was Sussex LF Ryan Crespi, who was 3-for-5 with a triple and three runs scored from the leadoff spot. Skyhawks DH Luis Soto was 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI. Sussex starting pitcher Roger Lincoln picked up his second win. He allowed three runs on six hits in six innings of work.

New Jersey 8, Worcester 7

Trailing 7-2 entering the bottom of the ninth inning, the red-hot New Jersey Jackals stormed back with a six-run rally to shock Worcester and earn an 8-7 win. Jackals C Christopher Chiarappa was just 1-for-5 in the game, but his lone hit was a big one, a single to left-center scoring DH Matt Lauderdale from third and CF Billy Kovatch from second, giving New Jersey the walk-off win. Jackals reliever Kevin Gunter picked up the victory, despite giving up two runs in the top of the ninth, to run his mark to 3-0 on the year.

Brockton 10, New Hampshire 3

Brockton 1B Clyde Williams was a one-man wrecking crew in this one as he went 3-for-3 with a pair of home runs to lead the Rox to a 10-3 win. Williams' third hit, a three-run homer, gave him 1,000 for his career. Williams scored four times and drove in five to lead all hitters in the contest. Brockton LF Keith Brachold also went deep, his sixth of the season, and was 2-for-4 with three RBI. Rox starting pitcher Wayne Lundgren pitched well and earned his third win. He allowed two runs, one earned, on seven hits while striking out five in seven innings of work.
