The Quebec Capitales got a big game on the mound from starting pitcher Michel Simard and a big game at the plate from C Greg Stevens to beat Brockton 6-2 in a game called after eight innings due to rain. Simard allowed two runs on four hits and struck out two while walking none in eight innings to earn the win. With the victory, he improved to 3-1. Stevens was 3-for-4 at the plate with a home run and two RBI to lead all hitters. Quebec 1B Pierre-Luc LaForest also homered in the game. He was 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Sussex starting pitcher Kyle Ruwe scattered nine hits, struck out eight and walked just two in a complete game shutout as the Skyhawks rolled to a 9-0 win at home. With the victory, Ruwe ran his mark to 3-0 on the season. Leading the way at the plate for Sussex was C Raymond Serrano who was 3-for-5 with a run scored and two RBI. Skyhawks 3B Jeremy Hunt also had a nice game, going 2-for-4 with a run scored and a RBI. American Defenders LF Jerod Edmondson recorded the game's only extra-base hit, a double. He finished 2-for-5 in the losing effort.
