Trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the ninth inning, New Hampshire 3B Chris Kelly hit a two-out, walk-off home run to propel the American Defenders into the win column. New Hampshire 1B Jerod Edmondson got aboard with a one out single and after RF Angel Molina fouled out to the catcher, Kelly ended the game with his 18th long ball of the year. American Defenders reliever Cooper Brannon was credited with the win, his first of the season. Worcester LF Heath Keel was responsible for the Tornadoes lone run with a solo home run in the fifth inning.

Quebec 5, Sussex 3
@ Quebec City, QC. Time: 2:26 Attendance: 3,263
W: Sean Gregory (1-0) L: Mike Schellinger (4-5) S: Derek McDaid (3)
HR: QC-Eddie Lantigua (8) The Quebec Capitales out-hit the Sussex Skyhawks 10-6 and broke a 3-3 tie in the bottom of the seventh inning to come away with the 5-3 win at home and a four game sweep of the series. Quebec SS Ivan Naccarata led off the seventh with a double and moved to third on a sacrifice bunt by the following hitter, C Patrick D'Aoust. The next hitter that came to the plate, RF Sebastien Boucher ripped a RBI single to give the Capitales the lead for good. Quebec reliever Sean Gregory picked up his first win and reliever Derek McDaid came away with his third save.

New Jersey 6, Brockton 4
@ Brockton, MA. Time: 2:57 Attendance: 2,049 W: Giuseppe Granitto (1-3) L: Jeff Long (3-4) S: Rusty Tucker (19) HR: BR-Phillip Cuadrado (6)
The New Jersey Jackals got a solid outing from starting pitcher Giuseppe Granitto to outlast Brockton for the win on the road. Granitto allowed one run on four hits while striking out three in six innings of work to pick up his first victory. New Jersey C Matt Lauderdale led the way at the plate, going 2-for-5 with a run scored and a RBI. Jackals closer Rusty Tucker recorded the last two outs in the ninth inning to boost his league leading save total to 19.
