SS Robert Lenoir's RBI single in the seventh inning capped off a two run rally and led the Skyhawks past the Rox in the first game of the doubleheader. Brockton had gone into the seventh inning with a 1-0 lead thanks to SS Eugene Julien's RBI single in the fifth inning, who was 2-for-3 in the game. Sussex starting pitcher Brian Ford got his first victory of the season pitching a complete game giving up only one run on four hits. 1B Ryan Lehr had a 1-for-3 outing for the Skyhawks.

Sussex 4, Brockton 2 (Game 2)

RF Josh Ury went 3-for-3 with one run scored and a run driven in to lead Sussex past Brockton and gain a sweep in the doubleheader. Sussex would jump on the board 1-0 in the third inning on a RBI single by CF James Cooper. Brockton would take a 2-1 lead with two runs in the fourth inning on a RBI double by C Jason Radwan and on an error by Skyhawks' 3B Elvis Corporan. Sussex took the lead for good in the fourth, 3-2, on a 2-run RBI single by C Abraham Ayala, who went 2-for-3 on the night with one run scored and two runs driven in. The Skyhawks would add an insurance run in the fifth inning on a RBI triple by Ury. Sussex starting pitcher Chris Zallie picked up his first victory of the season going six strong innings giving up one earned run on three hits.

Worcester 6, New Jersey 3 (Game 1)

The Tornadoes got a strong outing from starting pitcher Reid Willett to pick up their seventh win of the year in game one of their double header against New Jersey. Willett pitched five innings surrendering one run on three hits to notch his second win of the year. LF Josh Beauregard hit his first home run of the year for the Tornadoes and finished the game 1-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored. RF Keith Beauregard was 2-for-4 on the day with an RBI to lead the Tornadoes offense. Jackals 3B Willy Veras was 2-for-4 in the game with a run scored to lead New Jersey in the loss.

Worcester 5, New Jersey 3 (Game 2)

INF Joe Mihalics got New Jersey off to an early lead when he drove home the game's first run with an RBI single that scored INF Bill Peavey who singled to lead off the inning. The score would remain the same until the fifth inning when Jackals' starting pitcher Josh Brey was hit in the leg by a ball off the bat. Though he was able to recover quickly he let fly an errant throw to first, allowing INF Rob Tewksbary, who lead off the inning with a double, to score. In the end, the Tornadoes outlasted the Jackals to pick up the sweep of the double header.
