Both games of tonight's doubleheader were postponed due to rain. They are scheduled to be made up Saturday, June 3rd beginning @ 3:05 p.m.

Quebec 8, New Haven County 4 (Game 1)
@ West Haven, CT. Time: 2:50 Attendance: 2,455

HR: QC-Eddie Lantigua (2); NH-Derrick Gibson (3)
After trailing 4-2 yesterday when the game was suspended due to rain, Quebec came back today to score six unanswered runs en route to an 8-4 victory over New Haven. Relief pitcher Marc-Andre Major got the win in relief of yesterdays starting pitcher Gabe Ribas. Major went 1 1/3 innings without surrendering a run. 1B Francisco Lebron led Quebec offensively with two hits and two RBI in the game. 3B Eddie Lantigua also added a homerun for the Quebec cause. For the Cutters, C Jorge Maduro went 2-for-3 and 2B Jose Delgado went 1-for-4 with two RBI in the losing effort.

New Haven County 3, Quebec 2 (7 Innings)(Game 2)

HR: NH-Thomari Story-Harden (1), Horace Lawrence (1)
DH Horace Lawrence hit a walk-off solo homerun in the bottom of the seventh inning to give New Haven a 3-2 victory over Quebec and helped the Cutters avoid being swept in the doubleheader. It was Lawrence's first homerun of the year. 1B Thomari Story-Harden also provided some offense for the Cutters, going 2-for3 with two RBI and a homerun of his own. Relief pitcher Andy Weimer pitched only 1/3 of an inning put still managed to get the win. Quebec 2B Dany Scalabrini led the team at the plate with two hits and an RBI in the game.

North Shore 8, Nashua 1 (6 innings)
@ Lynn, MA. Time: 2:29 Attendance: 1,719

HR: NS-Vic Davilla (2)
1B Vic Davilla went 2-for-4 with two RBI to lead North Shore past Nashua in the rain shortened contest. 3B Jeff Brooks added three hits for the Spirit as they took advantage of Nashua's four errors in the game. Starting pitcher Chris Farley pitched all six innings of the game to pick up his first win of the year. Farley allowed only three hits and one run in the game. Nashua 3B Andy Dillard drove in the Pride's lone run in the losing cause.

@ Little Falls, NJ.
The game was postponed due to rain. It is scheduled to be made Saturday, June 3rd beginning at 5:05 p.m. as part of a doubleheader.
