Quebec 3, Sussex 1

On offense CF Sebastien Boucher and C Pete LaForest both had two hits and combined to drive in all three of the Capitales' runs as Quebec beat Sussex 3-1. RHP Matthew Rusch earned a win in relief by throwing six innings with seven strikeouts and just a single unearned run allowed to improve to 10-1 on the year. Sussex scored its lone run when 2B Joe Persichina scored on a two-out error in the bottom of the eighth following his triple, but the Skyhawks couldn't claw all the way back. Sussex starting pitcher Will Hassett was tagged with the loss despite a quality start.
