LF Jerod Edmondson's single in the 10th inning plated CF Timo Perez from second base and lifted the New Jersey Jackals past the Worcester Tornadoes for the three-game sweep. Perez led the Jackals offense going 2-for-5 with a double, a triple, two runs scored and a RBI. Edmondson and 3B Mike Scanzano each chipped in with two hits apiece as well for New Jersey. Rusty Tucker won his fifth game of the season for the Jackals as he walked one and struck out one in a third of an inning pitched. DH Alex Pena hit his fourth home run of the season in a 2-for-5 effort for the Tornadoes.
