The Capitales blew this one wide open with an eight-run fifth inning as Quebec rolled to an easy win over Sussex. 1B Pierre-Luc LaForest led the way at the plate, going 2-for-5 with a home run, a double, two runs scored and four RBI. Quebec collected a total of 13 hits of eight of the nine players in the lineup. SS Ivan Naccarata was 3-for-6 with two runs scored and a pair of runs driven in to supplement the big night from LaForest. Capitales starting pitcher James Kukucka held Sussex to two runs on four hits while striking out four in six innings of work to earn the win and remain perfect at 4-0 on the year.

Brockton 2B Melvin Falu came up huge in the Rox 6-5, 11-inning win over New Hampshire. With the game tied 5-5 in the bottom of the 11th inning, Falu doubled to center field, scoring RF Keith Brachold all the way from first base to give the Rox a walk-off win. The hit was Falu's fourth of the game as he finished 4-for-6 with a home run, a double and four RBI. Brockton reliever Adam Piechowski was credited with the win, his fourth of the year. He allowed two hits while striking out two in two scoreless innings of work.

Trailing 8-7 entering the bottom of the seventh inning, the New Jersey Jackals put the game away with seven runs in the frame to take a 14-8 lead, the margin they would eventually win by. RF Myron Leslie led the way for the Jackals offensively, going 3-for-5 with a home run, a double, two runs scored and four RBI. The first six hitters in the New Jersey lineup recorded multi-hit games and accounted for all of the team's 15 hits. Reliever Kevin Gunter picked up the win to move to 8-1 on the season.
