New Hampshire 2B Mike O'Malley hit a sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning that scored PR Breland Brown from third base and gave the American Defenders a 2-1 victory over Sussex. New Hampshire DH Jabe Bergeron accounted for the team's other run, a solo home run that got the American Defenders on the board in the fifth. New Hampshire starting pitcher Miguel Flores pitched great en route to his sixth win of the season. He allowed one unearned run on six hits while striking out seven in eight innings of work.

Worcester 6, New Jersey 2

Worcester starting pitcher Ryan Lobban allowed two runs on five hits while striking out seven in a complete game effort to lead the Tornadoes to victory over New Jersey. With the win, Lobban ran his record to 10-5 on the season, giving him the most wins in the Can-Am League. Worcester 1B Chris Colabello led the way at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and a RBI. Tornadoes SS Omar Pena hit a solo home run and scored twice in a 1-for-5 night. New Jersey 1B Myron Leslie was 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI in the losing effort.

The Quebec Capitales scored three runs in the top of the first inning and never looked back en route to doubling up Brockton, 6-3, and regaining the lead atop the second half standings. Quebec starting pitcher Dan Sausville allowed two runs on seven hits while striking out six in six innings of work to earn the win and improve to 7-3 on the season. Capitales SS Ivan Naccarata led the way at the plate, going 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI. Brockton 1B Clyde Williams was 2-for-5 with his 14th home run in the loss.
