Luis Sabino's RBI triple in the bottom of the eighth inning broke a 5-5 tie and gave the Spirit the victory over the Cutters. With the win, North Shore is now in a second place tie with New Haven County, two games behind Quebec. North Shore was led at the plate by SS Morgan Brown who had a 2-for-4 outing with a run scored and an RBI. C Alex Trezza also chipped in with his 13th home run of the season, which is tops in the league. Kevin Rival picked up his first win with the Spirit going two shutout innings and striking out four. For the Cutters, they were led tonight by C Sandy DeLeon who went 2-for-4 with a run scored.
