Andrew Weimer picked up his second win of the season for the Cutters, going two and two-thirds innings, holding the Jackals scoreless and hitless. New Haven first baseman Bill Peavey went 4-for-5 at the plate and just missed hitting for the cycle. Julio Perez took the loss for New Jersey, his third of the season. Jackal rightfielder Daren Ciraco went 3-for-4, while third baseman Tyler Brock knocked in three runs.

The Spirit were able to come back from a first inning deficit to beat the Rox 3-1. North Shore put up single tallies in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings to seal the win. John Kelly picked up his fourth win for the Spirit, going seven innings and allowing no earned runs. Four North Shore hitters had two hits apiece. Brad Guy loss his second game of the season, but also went seven innings, allowing all three runs. Brockton leftfielder Kris Zacuto, led Rox hitters going 2-for-3 at the plate and knocking in the team's only run.
WORCESTER 4, ELMIRA 3 @ Worchester, Mass. Time: 2:49 ATT: 2733 W: Eddie Pena (1-0) L: Jose Guzman (1-2) S: None HR: WOR - Andy Brown (7)
Eddie Pena won his first game of the season as Worcester defeated Elmira 4-3. Tornadoes third baseman Zach Strong's drove in the game winning run with a single in the bottom of the ninth. Strong went 4-for-5 during the game. Jose Guzman got the loss for the Pioneers, giving up two runs in a third of an innings work. Elmira first baseman Ryan Kenning went 2-for-3 at the plate, driving in one of the Pioneers two RBIs.
