Sussex County 3, Quebec 1 - Box Score
Sussex County won their fifth straight game as they downed Quebec by the score of 3-1.
The story of this contest was the sensational performance from Miners starting pitcher Frank Duncan. Duncan tossed his league leading sixth complete game of the season allowing only one earned run on two hits and striking out 11 batters. The 27-year-old threw 114 pitches, 78 for strikes, and notched his eighth win of the year.
Offensively for Sussex County, CF Mikey Reynolds led the way going 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI. Miners 3B Jarred Mederos had a double in three official at-bats along with a run while SS Cito Culver plated a run and drove in one in a 1-for-3 night.
For Quebec, RF Jhalan Jackson hit a solo home run to account for their lone run of the game.
Trois-Rivieres 11, Ottawa 4 (Top 6 - In Progress)
