Quebec 4, Trois-Rivieres 3

Quebec 2B/3B TJ White hit a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth inning to break a 3-3 tie and lift the Capitales to a 4-3 win over Trois-Rivieres.

The Aigles jumped out on top 2-0 in the top of the first inning on RBI singles by LF Javier Herrera and 1B Kevin Cornelius. Quebec would tie the contest up at 2-2 in the fourth on a two-run blast by CF Kalian Sams. Each team plated a run in the fifth to make it 3-3 before White's home run in the sixth put the Capitales ahead to stay.

White went 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI while 2B/C Maxx Tissenbaum scored a run and drove in one in a 2-for-4 night.

Quebec starting pitcher Arik Sikula tossed seven solid innings in picking up his sixth win of the season. Sikula gave up two earned runs on five hits with a walk and nine strikeouts.

Sussex County 4, New Jersey 1

Sussex County has now won 15 straight games at home as they defeated New Jersey by the score of 4-1.

The Miners tallied all four of their runs in the second inning and would cruise from there behind a solid pitching performance from Andrew Vinson. Vinson went eight strong innings allowing one earned run on eight hits and struck out three in 103 pitches. The righty is now 4-2 on the season.

Offensively, Sussex County banged out 13 hits in the contest with everyone in the lineup collecting at least one. Miners SS Jarred Mederos went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI while C Christian Correa and RF Breland Almadova each had a pair of hits and drove in a run.

For the Jackals in the loss, DH Dean Green went 3-for-4 and scored the team's lone run.

Ottawa 8, Rockland 3 (Top 8 - Suspended/Fog)

The contest between Ottawa and Rockland has been suspended due to fog with Ottawa leading Rockland 8-3 in the top of the eighth inning.
