Ottawa 7, Hollywood 3 - Box Score

RHP Jordan Kurokawa struck out nine hitters over seven shutout innings, and his offense provided him with seven runs of support in a 7-3 win over Hollywood at RCGT Park. Kurokawa worked around three hits and a walk to keep the Stars off the scoreboard during his stint on the mound.

Offensively, seven different Champions recorded one hit apiece. 2B Steve Nyisztor homered and drove in two runs in the win. His homer was one of three extra-base hits for Ottawa.

3B Brian Luebcke drove in two runs for Hollwood.

Trois-Rivieres 1, Quebec 0 - Box Score

The Aigles were held to just two hits, but a solo home run from RF Michael Suchy was enough to propel Trois-Rivieres to a 1-0 win over their provincial rivals.

RHP Ethan Elias twirled a complete-game shutout on the mound for the Aigles. Over his nine innings, he scattered five hits and a walk, striking out seven Capitales. All five hits allowed were singles. Elias' counterpart, RHP Lazaro Blanco, also stuck out seven in his eight innings of work. He allowed both Trois-Rivieres hits and walked one Aigles hitter.

Quebec SS Yordan Manduley was 2-for-4 in his team's loss.

New Jersey 9, Rockland 3 - Box Score

The Jackals won their second game in as many days over the rival Boulders 9-3. C Andy Mocahbee hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the second to put New Jersey ahead for good. The very next inning, 3B Seth Spivey hit a two-RBI triple and scored on an RBI groundout from 1B Daniel Canela. Canela, Mocahbee, and LF Connor Hoffmann each had two hits apiece for New Jersey.

RHP Dylan Brammer struck out four over six innings to earn the win for the Jackals.

Rockland DH Marcus Nidiffer recorded two hits in the loss.

Sussex County 7, Salina 3 - Box Score

Seven different Miners combined for a 12-hit night as Sussex County won its second straight game over Salina, taking a 7-3 triumph Wednesday. CF Breland Almadova had a three-hit game, going 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI. 2B Rubi Silva picked up two hits, including his fourth home run of the season, a solo shot in the fourth. SS Mikey Reynolds notched a double and a triple to account for both of his hits.

RHP Matt Blandino earned the win in relief, as he allowed a run over 1.2 innings. Later in the game, RHP Kenny Koplove recorded three strikeouts to complete his inning of relief.

1B Daniel Williams had three hits for Salina.
