New Jersey 18, Worcester 5

It was all New Jersey tonight as the Jackals behind a nine-run seventh inning defeated the Worcester Tornadoes, 18-5. New Jersey collected 21 hits in the game and everyone in the lineup scored at least a run. Jackals 3B Nick Giarraputo and DH Nick Salotti combined to go to 7-for-12 at the plate with four runs scored and 10 RBI. New Jersey 2B Angel Berroa had a perfect 4-for-4 night with four runs scored and a RBI. Jackals starting pitcher Craig Clark was his fifth game of the season as he went six innings allowing two earned runs on five hits with five strikeouts.

Rockland 3, Newark 2 (Game 1 - 8 Innings)

First baseman Ryan Scoma hit a solo home run in the bottom of the eighth inning to lift the Rockland Boulders to a 3-2 walk-off win over the Newark Bears in game one of the doubleheader. Scoma went 1-for-3 while SS Cole Kraft had a 1-for-2 game with a solo home run. Rockland closer Adrian Martin notched his sixth win of the season as he allowed one hit in an inning of work. For Newark in the loss, SS Mike Richard went 2-for-3 with a RBI.

Rockland 8, Newark 0 (Game 2 - 7 Innings)

Rockland completes the doubleheader sweep as the Boulders defeat the Newark Bears, 8-0. Left fielder Keith Brachold had a great game at the plate for Rockland going 2-for-3 with a home run, his league leading 22nd of the season, and four RBI. Rockland DH Ryan Mollica and SS Cole Kraft each had two hits as well and leadoff hitter Chris Valencia scored two runs. Boulders starting pitcher Bobby Blevins was the winner as he tossed a complete game allowing only two walks and four hits. The victory by Blevins was his seventh of the season.

Quebec 4, Sioux Falls 4 (Bottom 8 - In Progress)

In interleague play, Quebec and the Sioux Falls Pheasants of the American Association are tied at 4-4 in the bottom of the eighth inning.
