Rockland 13, Newark 8

Rockland used nine runs over the sixth and seventh innings to pull away from the Newark Bears in a 13-8 win. The Boulders broke a 3-3 tie in the sixth on a sac fly by RF Keith Brachold to score 1B Ryan Scoma. Rockland scored four runs in the inning on three Newark errors. The seventh inning saw five more Rockland runs cross the plate. This time, the Boulders got three hits and made Newark pay for a hit batsman and two walks. Scoma and LF Jon Smith produced offensively for the Boulders. Both went 2-for-3 with their fifth home runs of the season. RHP Dan Jurik came away with his third victory.

Grand Prairie 4, Worcester 3

The Grand Prairie AirHogs scored two runs in the top of the ninth inning to overcome a 3-2 deficit and beat the Worcester Tornadoes, 4-3. Grand Prairie would take a 2-0 lead in the third inning on a two-RBI single by SS Yasutsugu Nishimoto. Worcester would came back in the seventh with three runs to take a 3-2 advantage thanks to a two-run double by LF Brendon Kelliher and a RBI single by RF Cameron Monger. The Tornadoes could not hold the lead as the AirHogs tallied two runs in the ninth to take home the victory. Nishimoto drove in two runs in a 1-for-4 day while C Zane Chavez had two hits, scored a run and drove in one. Grand Prairie reliever Ronnie Morales notched the win tossing a scoreless inning and closer Justin Dowdy collected his eighth save of the season.
