Grand Prairie 9, Rockland 3

The AirHogs of the American Associastion scored at least one run in each of the first six innings en route to a 9-3 win over Rockland. Grand Prairie 1B Andres Rodriguez went 2-for-5 and hit a first-inning home run. The homer - Rodriguez' second of the year - was one of two AirHogs blasts in the game. Rockland SS Matt Nandin was the only Boulders batter with multiple hits, going 2-for-4 with two RBI. AirHogs starting pitcher John Brownell threw all nine innings and allowed three runs on only five hits and three walks with seven strikeouts.

New Jersey 16, Newark 4

Jackals SS Angel Berroa went 2-for-4 and hit a solo home run in the sixth inning to help his team take a 16-win over Newark Berroa scored twice and batted in four runs to tie with teammate Carlos Guzman as the game's RBI leader. Guzman went 2-for-5. Leading the game in hits, Jackals 2B Matt Cusick went 4-for-6, hit his fifth double of the year and scored three times. Already leading, 9-4, New Jersey scored seven runs in the eighth inning to all but guarantee victory. No Newark batter had more than one hit, but Bryce Lane reached base on a hit and two walks, batting in one of his team's four runs.

Worcester 10, Quebec 3

Tornadoes DH Nick Salotti batted in four runs against the Capitales, leading his club to a 10-3 win. Salotti hit his sixth home run of the season to get three of those RBI in the fifth frame. The Capitales got three RBI from Sebastien Boucher, but no other Quebec batters pushed in any runs. Starting Tornadoes pitcher Kevin Cooper went seven strong innings, allowing three runs on nine hits with two strikeouts. Tornadoes 2B Brandon Pinckney led all players in hits, going 3-for-5 with a run and an RBI.
