St. Paul 8, Quebec 2

The Saints scored five runs in the first inning and never looked back en route to an 8-2 win over Quebec. St. Paul 2B Jon Townsend went 2-for-4 with a run and two RBI, including a two-run double in the five-run first. Jon and Tanner Townsend each had two doubles, with Tanner going 3-for-5 with two runs and an RBI. Starting Saints pitcher Alberto Rolon threw seven innings and allowed only one run on three hits and six walks with two strikeouts. Capitales CF Sebastien Boucher hit a solo home run in the eighth to bring his club within five runs at 7-2, but that was as close as Quebec got the rest of the night.

New Jersey 9, Rockland 5

The Jackals got back-to-back home runs from Nick Giarraputo and Carlos Guzman in the first inning and never looked back, defeating the Rockland Boulders, 9-5. Giarraputo hit a three-run blast followed by a solo shot from Guzman. Guzman went 1-for-3 with a run and an RBI, while Giarraputo got all of his runs (1) and RBI (3) in the first inning, going 2-for-4. Rockland scored all five of their runs in the eighth and ninth inning. But the Boulders couldn't muster enough runs to come back against the Jackals. For the Boulders, Chris Valencia went 3-for-4 but didn't score a run.

Newark 1, Worcester 1 (Suspended - Top 9)

The game between Newark and Worcester was suspended in the top of the ninth inning with the score tied, 1-1. The game will be completed Wednesday beginning at 11:05. The regularly scheduled game will begin 20 minutes after the conclusion of the suspended contest.
