Quebec 11, New Jersey 8

After falling behind early to New Jersey 2-0, the Quebec Capitales scored four runs in the fourth inning and five more in the fifth to take a 9-2 lead and would hang on for an 11-8 win. Quebec 2B Josh Colafemina went 3-for-6 with a home run, two runs scored and five RBIs to lead the offense. Capitales LF Mitch Delaney also had three hits, scored two runs and drove in one. Quebec reliever Jeff Duda tossed 3 2/3 scoreless innings to collect the win and improve to 5-0 on the season.

Pittsfield 11, Newark 1

The Pittsfield Colonials scored nine runs in the fifth inning to blow open the game and beat the Newark Bears 11-1. Colonials CF Quentin Davis went a perfect 5-for-5 at the plate with a run scored and three RBIs. Pittsfield 1B Angel Molina chipped in with three hits and drove in two runs. Colonials starting pitcher Patrick Moran won his seventh game of the season after tossing seven innings allowing an earned run on nine hits with six strikeouts.

New York 8, Brockton 6

The New York Federals scored two runs in the eighth inning to break a 6-6 tie and beat the Brockton Rox 8-6. Federals Derrick Pyles went 3-for-4 with a run scored and a RBI while 3B Brad Jackson chipped in with two hits and drove in a pair of runs. New York reliever Alex Foltz pitched two scoreless innings to pick up the win. For Brockton in the losing effort, INF Mike Torres went 2-for-5 with a run scored and two RBIs.
