Rockland 8, Trois-Rivieres 7
First baseman Mikael Mogues and LF Mike Montville belted back-to-back solo home runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to give Rockland an incredible 8-7 walk-off victory over Trois-Rivieres. This contest featured a lot of offensive fireworks as the two teams combined for 15 runs on 28 hits, including eight home runs and four doubles.
The Boulders themselves had 14 hits in the contest with eight of the nine batters in the lineup collecting at least one. Montville and 2B Cody Regis each launched a pair of home runs while C Kevin Krause had a pair of hits in four at-bats and scored twice.
Rockland reliever Kyle Hansen allowed a solo home run in the ninth inning but still went on to collect his third win of the year. Hansen struck out one in the four batters that he faced.
For the Aigles in the loss, C Alex Herceg went 3-for-5 with two home runs, three runs scored and two RBI.
