Brockton 6, New Jersey 2
The Brockton Rox clinched the final playoff berth as they defeated the New Jersey Jackals 6-2. Rox CF Chris Valencia, DH Shawn Williams and SS Dom Ramos each went 2-for-4 on the day with a run scored and a RBI. 3B Phil Cuadrado chipped in with two hits as well for Brockton. Rox starting pitcher Freddy Flores notched his seventh win of the season as he allowed two earned runs on six hits in five innings pitched. Jackals C Chris Anderson had three hits in the loss.
