The Worcester Tornadoes scored six runs in the seventh inning to blow open a tight game and beat the New York Federals 8-0. Tornadoes LF Alex Nunez, DH Nick Salotti and CF Brendan Kelliher each collected two hits apiece while C Alex Trezza hit a grand slam.Worcester starting pitcher Zach Zuercher was fantastic en route to his 10th win of the season. Zuercher tossed a complete game shutout allowing only three hits while fanning seven batters.
