A walk-off single from Christian Campbell brought home the winning run for the Brockton Rox (24-17) in a 7-6 victory over the Pittsfield Suns (22-17) at Campanelli Stadium on Tuesday.
Campbell did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Brockton Rox, reaching base four times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the second, seventh, and ninth innings.
Tom Marcinczyk racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Brockton Rox. He singled in the third inning and homered in the seventh inning.
Campbell improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Brockton Rox. He allowed one run over one inning. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered one hit.
Alex Lagos was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
