C.J. Sedoris of Bishop Gorman High School named Gladiators' Ironman Award winner

Las Vegas, NV, October 12, 2005 - The Las Vegas Gladiators, in partnership with News 3's "Operation: Football," awarded C.J. Sedoris of Bishop Gorman High School the Gladiators' Ironman Award for the seventh week of the 2005 high school football season.
Sedoris, the Gaels quarterback, led Bishop Gorman to their most lopsided victory of the season, a 76-6 win over Spring Valley on Friday. Sedoris hit DeMarco Murray on a 65-yard touchdown pass on the first play from scrimmage and the third-ranked Gaels never looked back. He finished the night with 229 yards passing and four touchdowns.
Sedoris also excels off the field as he holds a 3.10 cumulative GPA.
This award recognizes student-athletes who have achieved both on the playing field and in the classroom. These achievements are reflective of the players in the AFL, where the majority of the athletes have skills as two-way performers.
Athletes are nominated for the award by their respective schools based on their weekly performance. Winners are recognized with a certificate presentation at their school with Gladiators' head coach Ron James and News 3 sports anchors Mitch Roberts or Rick Strasser. The presentation is featured on News 3 each week.
