
Byung-Hyun Kim to Pitch Sunday as Flyers Play Two Exhibition Games Over the Weekend

ANAHEIM, Calif. (May 15, 2010) - The Orange County Flyers continue training camp this weekend with a pair of pre-season exhibition games as first-year manager Paul Abbott continues to evaluate players in determining who will earn one of the final 22 roster spots for the season. Former National League All-Star pitcher Byung-Hyun Kim is scheduled to start the Sunday morning game at 9:30am.
??The team will also be playing an exhibition on Saturday afternoon at 1pm. Both games will be held at Fullerton College, where the Flyers have been holding training camp since May 9.??
"These games go a long way in determining which players will put on the Flyers uniform this season," said Harris Tulchin, executive VP of player personnel. "Guys can come out of nowhere during camp to earn significant roles on the team." ??
Sunday morning's game will be broadcast online. Fans can access the broadcast through the team's website by clicking on "Internet Broadcasts" under the News table. This season, all 90 Flyers games - home and away - will be broadcast live online.??
The Flyers continue training camp through May 19 at Fullerton College before heading to St. George for the May 21 season opener. Orange County opens at home on Tuesday, June 15 against the Calgary Vipers. Single game tickets are available through the team website at www.OrangeCountyFlyers.com.
