Buzz sting San Diego, 95-93

October 17, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Maywood Buzz News Release

San Diego, CA - The Carson Buzz came into this game with sort of a chip on it's shoulder. "We read last week that the San Diego Wildcats was 2-0 in preseason after beating the Buzz", says Buzz GM/Head Coach Burrel Lee III.

"Yes we did play a game with 6 of my rookies all no bigger then 6'3 and they flipped the script and came stacked...and beat us and we took that to heart. I do feel a huge rivalary starting. We are only an hour away from each other and it showed in the game. This is going to a great season when we take the court against the Wildcats", added Lee.

The Buzz was lead by Tarron 'The Beast' Williams with 22pts and Rookie Guard Terrell Hendricks 17pts. Former NBA player Keith 'The Boss' Closs keep the Buzz on the glass with 15 rebounds.

"We haven't even opened training camp yet and are winning games against teams who have been in camp for 3 weeks. Just think how we will be when we have all 12 players and have been in training camp. It is scary", say Buzz Forward Darren Little.

The Carson Buzz will also like to thank California Touch of Class Bus Company for providing us transportion to and from our game and Driver Mallory for getting us up and back safely.
