Amarillo Bulls News Release

SHREVEPORT, LA - The Amarillo Bulls look to continue their strong play away from home when they resume their South Division Championship Series against the Shreveport Mudbugs tomorrow (Wednesday) at 7:11 pm at George's Pond Hirsch Coliseum.

The Best Of Five Championship is all even after the teams split the first two gams in the Texas Panhandle last week. The Mudbugs took game one 3-1, while the Bulls rallied an captured game two 4-1. The fourth game of the series will be played on Thursday in Shreveport and if a fifth and deciding game is needed it would be played back at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center on Sunday at 7 pm.

There will be two watch parties for the games 3 and 4 that will take place at J's Bar and Grill located on Soncy Road in Amarillo. Fans are invited to arrive at 6 pm and there will be drink specials available throughout the night.

On the ice, the first two games have featured fast starts by both teams. The Mudbugs scored in the first 90 seconds of the game and then added a second one early in the second. Meantime, the Bulls scored twice in the first 4:01 of the contest of Game 2 to send them on their way.

The Bulls won their first two road playoff games with wins in Corpus Christi versus the IceRays at American Bank Center. Hirsch Coliseum has been a tough place to play for teams during the regular season, but the Bulls were able to win four times including a weekend series sweep.

The first two games have not been very physical and featured just a handful of power play opportunities.
