Amarillo Bulls News Release

AMARILLO, TX - When the Amarillo Bulls take to the ice on Sunday against the Corpus Christi IceRays, they will do it in front of a capacity crowd.

Sonic Sunday, which is set for this weekend at the Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center, is sold out.

Fans are being encouraged to bring any extra tickets they are not using to the Civic Center Box Office on Sunday and they will be left for others to use.

"We are very pleased with the overwhelming response from our community on this promotion," said General Manager, Chris Laurie. We certainly empathize with those fans who will be turned away, but in the same breath, it's always a great thing to be sold out. Fans can expect a very lively atmosphere and an exciting hockey game on Sunday. I would also like to extend a big thank you to Sonic for stepping up and sponsoring this event!"

Sunday's game will be Amarillo's first sell out in more than three years, dating back to the 2007-2008 season of the Gorillas.

This contest is the second of two this weekend for the Bulls as they will entertain the Wichita Falls Wildcats on Saturday at 7 pm. It's Show Me the Money Night courtesy of The People's Federal Credit Union and one lucky fan could go home with $250 in cash.

For those fans who may have missed the promotion, the Bulls are offering a Buy One-Get One Free promotion for Saturday night. This offer is good at the Amarillo Bulls office only at 901 South Buchanan.

Tickets for Saturday's game are available at all Panhandle Ticket Outlets including United Supermarkets, Civic Center Box Office or online at www.amarillobulls.com. For further information on group tickets, flex packs or to purchase single game tickets, please call the Bulls office at 806-242-1122.
