AMARILLO, TX - Amarillo Bulls players and staff are participating in two different Movember Campaigns to help raise awareness and funds for Men's Health.

With help of the Bulls Corporate Partner Sport Clips, Bulls staff and players were shaved in front of the media Tuesday morning at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center. Vice President/General Manager Rick Matchett is participating in the 24 Hours In The Canyon Cancer Survivorship Center Fundraiser along with Wes Reeves, John Belieu and Evelyn Rivers.

Twenty-four Hours in the Canyon Cancer Survivorship Center is a FREE resource for cancer patients regardless of where they received or are receiving their treatment. The Center focuses on transitioning survivors from their cancer treatment to wellness.

"I'm so glad to have this opportunity to help raise money for this organization and hopefully bring more awareness to Men's Cancer at the same time," said Bulls Vice President and General Manager Rick Matchett. "Most everyone has been touched by Cancer either through family or friends and so many times early detection can help save lives. If this campaign can help save one life then it will be a success."

To donate to Rick Matchett's campaign visit https://www.crowdrise.com/testevent3/fundraiser/rickmatchett or www.amarillobulls.com and click on the 24 Hours In the Canyon Cancer Survivorship Center logo on the right hand side.

Bulls Assistant Coach Tony Attanucci, players Matt Nehls, Tyler Hall, Zach Sarnowski, and Joey Molinaro are participating in the Movember Campaign as part of the North American Hockey League's month-long event. All 22 teams and the over 500+ players in the league are participating. The NAHL Movember campaign is all about bringing back the moustache, having fun and doing it for a serious cause; men's health, specifically prostate and testicular cancer initiatives. Last season, the Janesville Jets raised more money than NAHL team and won the contest.

Fans can donate to this great cause by visiting either http://mobro.co/bullsnation or www.amarillobulls.com and click on the Movember logo on the left hand side of the page.

Hockey's back at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center this Friday and Saturday when the Amarillo Bulls host the Wichita Falls Wildcats at 7 pm. Saturday is one of the biggest events of the year, with Military Appreciation Night Presented by Vista College. Among the events taking place include a swearing-in ceremony, presentation of the colors and the Gold Star Ceremony.

Several players will wear one-of-a-kind jerseys during warm-ups and a silent auction takes place during the game on the main concourse. All Veterans and Military will receive a free-ticket to the game with a Military ID, while Military Families can get $8 tickets.
