Amarillo Bulls News Release

AMARILLO, TX - A measure of revenge

That is something the Amarillo Bulls are looking for tonight when they host the Topeka RoadRunners at 6 pm to close out a tripleheader of games at The Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center.

Tonight, the first 200 fans will receive a limited edition Red Bulls T-Shirt courtesy of UniFirst.

The Bulls suffered their first regulation loss in 10 games, falling 7-4 to the Topeka RoadRunners on Saturday night. It was the first period that was the difference in the rough and touch contest as Topeka raced out to a 5-1 advantage. The Bulls outhustled and outworked Topeka over the final 40 minutes, outscoring the visitors 3-2. The emotions of the game boiled over as there were over 200 minutes in penalties and several skirmishes after the whistle.

A win by the Bulls tonight will extend their second place lead over the Texas Tornado to three points in the NAHL South Division standings. The Bulls will try to utilize one of their games in hand as Texas has the night off.

Tickets for the game are available through all Panhandle Ticket Outlets including United Supermarkets, Civic Center Box Office or online at www.amarillobulls.com. To purchase single game tickets, inquire about playoff packages or group rates, please call the Bulls office at 806-242-1122 or visit 901 South Buchanan.

Fans can listen to the game live on ESPN1440 and www.amarillobulls.com beginning with The Bulls Warm Up Show Presented By Wayland Baptist University at 5:45 pm. Denis J. Puska has the action at 6 pm. The game is also available on Pay-Per-View courtesy of Fast Hockey and a high speed internet connection is required in order to view the game.
